Join together with other women to battle fear by seeking truth and engagement.
We have an amazing day planned filled with worship, teaching, and true fellowship.
We are unified in our vision: we want to dive deeper in our relationship with God, we want to hear His voice, and we want to fellowship and worship with other like-minded women.

The writer of three award-winning novels, L. G. Westlake is a gifted communicator, born out of a very real and raw journey with Christ. Her quest includes serving as founding director of a Crisis Pregnancy Center in Texas and both long and short-term mission work in Equatorial Guinea, Honduras, Mexico, The Philippines, India and Guatemala. Today, L.G. serves as a manager of marketing and communications for an worldwide ministry that shares God’s Word with the world.
She is a passionate student of the Word in eschatology and apologetics.
But one short conversation with L. G. and you will know that she avoids such churchy terms. L. G. is just real. And fun. Her knowledge of end-times prophecy manifests itself most fascinatingly in her “Narnia-esque” writing in the first acclaimed book Quest for the Life Tree in an allegorical Christian fantasy. Her passion for sharing the amazing news of the Gospel is evident in the first cup of coffee you have with her – or the first blog post you read.
L. G. desires to make apologetics – the defense of the truth of the Word of God – and the joy that those with a personal relationship with Christ enjoy – contagious. Originally from Waxahachie, Texas, she and her husband have three grown children and are empty-nesters in Albuquerque, New Mexico. L. G. enjoys traveling and cooking and having coffee on her patio with girlfriends who share her love of Christ and of pondering the great things He is doing!

Misty is passionate about God's Word and loves encouraging other women to dig deeper in order to take their next step towards Jesus Christ. She is a firm believer that, as Christ followers, our spiritual journey is life-long and our work is not finished until we take our last breath on this earth. Misty has been a member of The Avenue Church for over thirty years where her father, David Brown, serves as the senior pastor. She volunteers her time as the director of women's ministry at The Avenue and has hosted women's bible study on campus for several years.
Misty lives in Waxahachie with her husband, Bonham Hough, and their two kids, Jaxon and Evelyn. Bonham and Misty own HUF Construction where Misty works as the financial manager. When she is not working, shuttling kids to and from practices, or volunteering at church, Misty loves to cook and spend time with family and friends.

Emily was blessed to be born and raised in Waxahachie by loving Christian parents who were
instrumental in her accepting Jesus as her Savior early in life. She served in her church on various
committees and as a youth Sunday school teacher for several decades and loved going on mission trips
with teenagers! The Lord was always important to Emily but in the past several years she has come to
love Him more and has the deep desire for others to know Him and grow as His disciples. She is a
participating member of Take the Hill and facilitates a platoon of prayer warriors and Bible loving
women in her home. She and her husband of 40 years, Bobby, enjoy their church and serve on the
Connect Team.
For the past 17 years she has served as the co-founder, PATH certified riding instructor and director of
Campfire Creek Therapeutic Riding Center. Previously, she was proud to be a stay at home mom and
commissioned artist. She was also blessed to be able to sell her work though the Stockyards Station
Gallery in Fort Worth and Cuchara Workshoppe owned by her and her sister, Angy.
Over the years she has been blessed to receive various acknowledgements and awards but the best
awards are the positive words from riders, parents and other who were just in need of hope and
encouragement and to feel love and accepted by Jesus.
Second only to her love for Jesus Christ is her love for her large family and friends. She and Bobby, a
retired Dallas firefighter, were blessed to raise 4 children and now have 6 grandchildren. Spending time
with them and other family members (whether around the table or vacationing in Cuchara, Colorado) is
by far her favorite thing to do. She also enjoys music, repurposing and creating art and being outdoors.

Talor, wife and mom of three, currently attends Freedom Fellowship Int'l in Waxahachie where she serves as head of the prophetic council and is a member of an intercessory team.
Talor owns and operates a marketing business called Talor'd Brands and is also a holistic welness practitioner in biofeedback. Her heart is to see women of God living in wholeness and becoming everything that they are created to be. Talor believes that in order for us to reach our greatest potential, we have to be physically and mentally well as much as we are spiritually. Her mission is to equip women to crave the things of God and not be ruled by the desires of this world. She does this through her blog, Crave Wholeness.
The date is approaching fast and we’re making preparations. Don’t miss out!
